Presentation of the Environmental Legislative Framework and Audit in Los Lirios

On September 18, 2018, Care With Me conducted a presentation of the environmental legislative framework and audit with the State Office for Environmental Protection of Quintana Roo. This presentation took place at Los Lirios, in collaboration with our allies Hojas Verdes.

Our main objective was to share information with different businessmen in Tulum about the state program for self-regulation and environmental auditing so that their companies could improve their internal environmental procedures and obtain the corresponding permits and licenses granted by the state of Quintana Roo.

We ended our assembly by showing that having good internal environmental management procedures are essential to obtain the corresponding permits. This proves that companies are environmentally responsible, and more importantly, this promotes the preservation of nature.

To this day, Care With Me continues to create ecological programs aimed at the ethical management of solid waste. At the same time, we carry out multigenerational educational and experiential activities that include talks, panels and demonstrations.
