School supplies donation drive together with the KKIS Project

KKIS, which stands for Keeping Kids in School, identifies promising students and provides them with life skills and a vision for a better future. This all starts with providing school supplies.

The cost of school supplies in Mexico is equivalent to a family’s food budget for a week, and for many families school supplies are a luxury rather than a necessity. However, school supplies are basic tools needed for learning.

Like planting a seed, the message to every student in Mexico who receives school supplies is, “If you stay in school, dreams can come true.” Teachers have reported that the children who receive school supplies are inspired and engaged like never before!
